Elspeth AndersonElspeth became a member of the NRG in September 2008 and joined her fellow Clapham Park Homes representative, Joao. Elspeth is involved in a number of resident related activities, one of which is her position as the Chair of the Resident Panel at Clapham Park Homes. Within the NRG Elspeth leads (with Anne) on the ACE portfolio, the Achieving Excellence programme

Michael BarronMichael was picked to be one of 3 Spirita representatives on the NRG in September 2008. He was a resident of Rushcliffe Homes, and then Spirita, for just over six and a half years. Michael is currently a member of the Spirita resident committee for the Rushcliffe area. Michael is the lead NRG member for Sustainability. Before early retirement Michael served in the armed forces for 24 years and then with the Royal Mail for a further 21 years. |

Mary BurtMary is a representative for the Regeneration Estates. Mary is a long standing member of the NRG and has been part of the group for a number of years. Mary is accountable for the financial well-being of the group as Treasurer. She continues to sit on the Customer First Committee, a sub-group of the MHP board. Mary has lived on the Roundshaw Estate in Wallington for thirty years. |

Terry CurtisTerry is a representative for the Regeneration Estates along with Mary and has been a member of the NRG since September 2008. Terry is the NRG Secretary as well as the lead member for Housing Management policy. He is also the Chair of the St Martin’s estate board in Brixton, London. |

Daniel HappiDaniel joined the NRG in early 2007 and in September 2008 became an Independent member representing Sheltered and Supported Housing. Daniel works with staff at MST and reports to service users through various Resident Involvement groups and forums. Daniel is responsible for the NRG website. (Supported Housing representative) |

Alan JonesAlan became an NRG member in September 2008 and is the second Granta member to sit on the group. Allan is the lead NRG portfolio holder for Antisocial behaviour. Within Granta Alan sits on the residents’ forum as well as a number of sub-groups. Alan works with a local charity group that supplies rejuvenated furniture and white goods to needy residents. Stephanie MathiasStephanie joined the NRG in September 2008 and was appointed the Communication portfolio. Despite her busy life style as a Minister, Stephanie is also involved in charitable work, mainly helping the Elderly with their food shopping. Stephanie has lived in Molly Huggins Close, Balham, for the past 20 years. She is the Treasurer for the Molly Huggins Residents Association. “My aim for the NRG is to do my best to go forward and uplift the NRG". (MHT London representative) |

Terry McLoughlinTerry joined the NRG this September as one of the 3 representatives of MHT London. He leads the group on Diversity. He is Chair of his local Resident Association. (MHT London representative) |

June ThompsonJune joined the group in January 2008 and is the first ever representative from Granta Housing Society. In Granta June sits on the Residents Forum and also a number of action groups dealing with more specific issues. June, along with Mary, is a NRG representative on the Customer First Committee which is a sub-group of the MHP board. (Granta representative) |

Anne TraversAnne is in her third year on the NRG group and was the Secretary for one of these; she is now the NRG Chair and also works with Elspeth on ACE. She was first introduced to Resident Involvement when she became a member of her local resident association. As a result of this she was also invited to become a member of the Midlands Regional Residents Panel (MRRP). “I feel very privileged to be a member of the NRG and have seen many excellent policies developed over the years which the group has influenced. I believe that the main aim of the group is to ensure that any new or amended policies are beneficial to the customers of MHP, while still maintaining MHP’s aims”. |
